- →In the event of a points tie, tiebreakers are: (1) regulation wins, (2) head-to-head record, (3) goal differential.
- →Home ice advantage is awarded to the higher seed throughout each round.
- →Overtime in playoff games is sudden death, 4-on-4, running until a goal is scored. No time limit.
- →If the game remains tied after the first OT period, play continues in additional 10-minute sudden death periods.
- →Player suspensions carry over from the regular season into the playoffs.
- →Rosters are locked 48 hours before the first playoff game. No emergency replacements after lock.
